Method Cacciatore translates to “hunter”, as Italians used to take them on hunts as a source of protein. This salami has a short fermentation and maturing time due to its smaller size. We craft ours using a very course grind mixed with sweet paprika, black pepper and white pepper.
Flavours Our Cacciatore Salami offers a tangy, slightly spicy flavour with notes of sweet peppers, paprika, black and white pepper. Due to the course ground it’s quite firm in texture.
Perfect for This salami works well on pizza, in luxurious salads or with tomatoes and slow cooked lentils. It also pairs nicely with a glass of pinot grigio, crusty bread and a good Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.

A traditional recipe made with salt, paprika and pepper. Perfect as an appetiser or on pizza.
